WE MEET YOU WHERE YOU ARE.

We offer five levels of care. Each requires varying degrees of commitment from you. Since every person has a unique history and set of needs – medical, personal, and emotional – every person takes a unique path through our levels of care. You may need to step down through all levels during recovery, from detox to outpatient, or you may not. What you need and how long you stay depends on you, the progress you make during treatment, and various personal factors. Our staff works with you to determine the starting point and sequence of care that gives you the best chance of sustainable, lasting recovery

SUBACUTE DETOX/WITHDRAWAL MANAGEMENT

The purpose of detoxification is to give your body time to clear the toxins associated with alcohol and drugs of misuse from your body. The purpose of withdrawal management – which may include medication – is to relieve the uncomfortable emotional and physical symptoms that appear in the absence of alcohol and drugs of misuse. Together, detox and withdrawal management prepare you for treatment, and allow you to ease into the recovery process. At Beacon House, we offer detox and withdrawal management for the following substances:

  • Alcohol
  • Opioids
  • Sedatives
  • Cannabis
  • Cocaine
  • Methamphetamine

PARTIAL HOSPITALIZATION (PHP)

During our partial hospitalization program, you participate in a full day of treatment and return home in the evening. Partial hospitalization combines the rigor of inpatient care with the convenience of outpatient care. This level of care is appropriate if you need the structure of inpatient treatment but are stable enough to live independently. A typical PHP patient participates in treatment three to five days a week for six hours a day.

INTENSIVE OUTPATIENT (IOP)

During our intensive outpatient program, you participate in a half day of treatment, but live at home and have time for work, family, or school commitments before or after your treatment day. We recommend IOP when you can manage your recovery independently, but need help building skills and staying on track. A typical IOP patient participates in treatment three to five days a week for three hours a day.
