THE RIGHT PLACE FOR YOU

Beacon House offers men and women age 18 + evidence-based treatment for alcohol use disorder, substance use disorder, and co-occurring disorders.

The best way to find out if Beacon House meets is right for you is to call a member of our admissions team. We’re available all twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, three-hundred sixty-five days a year.

THE FIRST STEP: A PHONE CALL

We believe that anyone who wants to get sober can get sober. It takes commitment, support, and a treatment plan that addresses their specific needs, combined with a permanent, active recovery regimen that recognizes the risk of relapse and works to prevent it.

Deciding which treatment program is best for you or your loved one may be one of the most important decisions you make. When you call Beacon House, our Integrity of Choice ethos means we’ll find the level of care and treatment center that’s the best fit for you. We will not push you toward services you don’t need.

Our priority is your sobriety – nothing more, nothing less.

When you call, the person you talk to becomes your primary pre-admissions connection at Beacon House. If you and your admissions contact determine Beacon House is the right choice for you, that same person will walk you through the entire admissions process to make sure every question you have is answered fully and to your complete satisfaction. They’ll verify insurance, discuss payment options, arrange an admissions appointment – and when all the preliminary details are addressed, they’ll meet you at the front door themselves.

THE ADMISSIONS PROCESS

Step One: Confirm treatment compatibility using our Integrity of Choice model.

Step Two: Insurance verification and benefits check.

Step Three: Mental health, substance use, and physical health screening call. This typically takes about 45 minutes.

Step Four: Our admissions director, clinical director, and medical director review and approve admission.

Step Five: Arrival and admission.

Upon arrival for treatment at Beacon House, you meet with a medical consultant for a full history and physical examination. Next, you meet with our clinical psychologist for a full psychological evaluation. When you complete your paperwork and evaluations, you meet a treatment buddy – a member of our recovery community – who gives you a tour of the facility. They’ll show you where you sleep, eat, and participate in group and individual therapy. You learn house rules, regulations, review expectations, and ask any remaining questions you may have.

THE NEXT STEP: BEGIN TREATMENT

We understand that committing to treatment takes courage. You may be nervous and unsure about what to expect – even after talking things through with your admissions counselor, completing your intake, and meeting your recovery buddy. That’s okay – we’re here to help ease your landing, help you get your feet under you, and start your recovery journey on the right foot.

THE VALUE OF TREATMENT

Sixty years of experience teaches us that the benefits of our Beacon House far outweigh the costs. As a non-profit organization, alcohol and substance use disorder treatment programs at Beacon House integrate evidenced-based practices and the latest research while offering the highest quality treatment available anywhere in the United States at affordable prices. Out-of-pocket costs vary based on individual insurance plans and length of stay. The financial costs associated with untreated addiction can escalate to hundreds of thousands of dollars over time. For some, the collateral damage is even greater. More important than saving dollars and cents, however, is creating the foundation for a lifetime of recovery.
