For some clients in the Beacon House program, traditional psychosocial treatments alone are not enough to maintain lasting sobriety. After an in-depth evaluation, our staff may advise in implementing a Medication-Assisted Treatment Program, on a case-by-case basis, therefore augmenting the treatment of a variety of substance-abuse disorders. It is proven, that the use of approved medications (i.e. Antabuse, Vivitrol, Revia, Topamax, Campral, etc.) can serve as a helpful and supportive component in some individual’s treatment plan, potentially reducing a relapse. Therefore, we utilize Medication-Assisted Treatment to help our clients find comfort in rehab.
Through ongoing education and collaboration with our clients, their families and our Interdisciplinary Treatment team, we are committed to designing the most effect treatment program for you or your loved one that results in lasting sobriety and Recovery for a Lifetime. Throughout treatment our team collaborates with clients to facilitate the potential use of certain medications to assist in remaining abstinent from drugs and alcohol. When appropriate we incorporate the use of these medications into the client’s treatment plan. Additionally, we provide education efforts to illustrate the importance of using medications when developing client’s clinical case formulation.
Our goal is to keep the client in the least restrictive and safe environment as possible.
