Our Location

Beacon House’s drug rehab in Northern California is situated a few blocks from the coastline of the Monterey Bay area, which offers a healing environment for our clients. We are located north of Los Angeles and south of San Francisco just next to Silicon Valley.

Our rehab is also situated a few minutes from the Monterey Peninsula community, which includes Carmel, Pebble Beach and Big Sur. You can get to us by air or by car.

There are three major airports serving our Monterey rehab center. These airports — San Jose, Oakland and San Francisco — are within a two hours’ drive from the facility. We are also just 15 minutes away from the local airport in Monterey.

Inpatient Residential Treatment

The length of our primary Residential Treatment is determined by clinical necessity. It is aimed at the basics of arresting the addiction. Furthermore, dealing with underlying causes and establishing relapse prevention. Integration of the latest research and evidenced-based practices includes: cognitive behavioral therapy, 12-Step group therapy, medically evaluated pharmaceutical agents, motivational interviewing, and community support.

Outpatient Treatment

Our full-day, non-Residential Treatment Program lasts four weeks. This helps the client who must stay at home, receive the basics of arresting the addiction, dealing with underlying causes, and relapse prevention.

Family Support

Family support is apart of the primary treatment and ongoing after treatment is over. Individual options available on request include:

Extended Stay

Extended stay addiction treatment is an option for clients who are either recommended for or request additional treatment to be certain of their readiness to return to day-to-day life (availability limited). This in-depth program of relapse prevention training and counseling includes an advanced program of developing coping skills as a foundation of recovery in day-to-day life. Note: patients must complete a primary treatment program prior to Extended Stay option.
