Cocaine & Methamphetamine Addiction Treatment

As the most toxic and potent stimulates, cocaine and methamphetamines cause an intense “high”, creating a false euphoria that intensifies all emotions. This type of intoxication tends to dramatically increase the release of the neurotransmitters dopamine, nor epinephrine and serotonin in the brain. Cocaine and methamphetamine addicts are prone to living a life of risk, often times resulting in violence, risky sexual behaviors or suicide.

Beacon House helps our residents detoxify quickly and with as little discomfort as possible so they may gain the full benefit of counseling and therapy. The admission team will arrange a time to meet with our Medical Director to complete a history and physical history of addiction. Upon this intense evaluation, an individualized detoxification plan will be set, if indicated, to ensure your comfort and safety.

Cocaine and methamphetamine addiction is often linked to co-occurring mood disorders including anxiety and depression, or in some cases other addictions. As part of the Beacon House commitment of treating the whole person, our team of professionals will help to identify and treat these underlying issues.

All of our programs also include experiential programs to help reintroduce clients to “real life” without alcohol, as well as aftercare, our alumni community, and OneHealth™ System.
